hailey is a big girl now

a few months back, we enrolled hailey with Cambridge @ Novena and they only had slots for jan 2010. we told them we could wait. just received a call and hailey could start school on the 2nd oct!!! this news came too sudden and it gave me mixed feelings.... hahhahah... my baby has grown, a mei mei now.
check out the green uniform! erm, not so sure of the colour combi man. but i am sure she'll look cute anyway. i am so excited!
this also means REST for grandma & grandpa, early mornings for mummy!

an evening of smiles

nicky came over last evening with the gals after a stormy afternoon. hailey was napping and when she woke up, she saw a little handsome boy playing with her toys, on her territory. kids will be kids. so so many toys around, but they are only attracted to the toy that the other is playing...snatching, pulling and cries had begun, at least for hailey only. she's got a problem of sharing her toys. that's something she's got to learn now! I did not take pictures, but aunty angie did. i am going to "kop" from her blog. hee hee. the kids really had fun! we had fun laughing with the kids & at fran, with the wii. sorry babe =p

colin & cheryl popped by last evening too. we last met colin at gleneagles when he visited hailey at birth. cheryl, at balastier 5 years ago! great catching up guys.

no...for him. 4th april was indeed a busy b'day. after the line, we headed home, rested and headed to his parents' for dinner. after dinner, we met up with the whole ching gang at T3. a mini celebration. thanks guys for making it complete for him. I am so lovin' every bit of his present. welcome all anytime to our place to have some action!

the line @ shangri-la

my dad's b'day is a day after collins' so, we decided to have a scrumptious lunch together at the line. boy, were we spoilt for choice...hailey's first buffet and the only food that interest her are rock melons *sweet* munchin' & playin' with her finger puppet monsters. my parents were just busy eating crabs!! my mom's plate was so full of shells, people were staring *lol* I think collin had like 3 main servings and subsequently, 3 small servings. I tried about most of the dishes, a small serving of each. we did enjoy very much esp with the little one. food wise: so so. i much prefer ritz carlton & hilton.

生日快乐

while papa was out cycling last nite, hailey and mummy had a secret mission... it's papa's birthday today! the mission was a first for hailey. a little messy, a little scared. much cleaning up had to be done. waiting for papa to wake up now...

happy birthday 爸爸！little hailey made a birthday card for papa, with the help of mummy of course. we used crayola finger paints, crayons, markers and stickers. this is hailey's first master piece of little hand prints and scribbles. needless to say, mummy had to guide her along with the writtings.

hailey walked up to papa, said "eh eh" & presented to him the card. I bet this is the best gift a parent could ever receive.

hailey is gonna be a little flower gal this june and i stumbled upon this pretty hand made dress on esty. pretty isn't it? it's not cheap thou...hmmm...should i custom make it for her? every little 1st times for the little ones is always an excitement!

my beautifuls

i was feeling a little down and had a sudden urge to pen it down differently. somehow i hoped, thru exploring blogging, the mix emotions will eventually turn into something fun. my mind's blank now & i have absolutely no idea what to post! well, i have to start somewhere ~ my beautifuls in my life, collin & little hailey. some things are never said and may never be told. i am saying now, they are the beautifuls in my life.
